A historical hotel<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Le Manoir Sur-le-Cap is located near the Ch\u00e2teau Frontenac and Notre-Dame Basilica, in Old Quebec, in the heart of North America's most historic district.<\/span><\/p>

On this site, facing the Governors' Garden, a wooden house was built at the end of the eighteenth century.<\/span><\/p>

After purchasing it in 1837, William L. Felton had the hovel demolished and a comfortable stone house built for himself.<\/span><\/p>

The property was then bought by Georges Mellis Douglas, a doctor by profession. It is the latter that opens Grosse \u00cele to sick immigrants. He became the medical superintendent there.<\/span><\/p>

During the years 1856 and 1857, the house belonged to the painter Th\u00e9ophile Hamel, who settled there after his marriage.<\/span><\/p>

Today, we have managed to keep this hotel's historic cachet while offering our guests warm family hospitality that will make your stay unforgettable, in a city recognized as a World Heritage Site.<\/span><\/p>

There are some places available on the street during the weekends but very limited. The best option is Maison de Beaucours which is an underground garage about a 2 minute walk from the hotel and the rate is 22$ for 24 hours. You can also park the car at the town hall located about 5 minutes from the hotel and the rate is 18$ for 24 hours.<\/span><\/p>
